Obituary

SAVOY, IL- Lillian Louise Cook, 83, of Savoy, IL, passed away at 11:50 P.M., Monday, December 17, 2012 at her residence in Savoy. Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign, IL. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Cook was born March 22, 1929 in Newman, IL, a daughter of Clarence William and Alice Marie Stewart. She married Velmer Cook on September 5, 1947 in Oakland, IL. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1985. Survivors include a son, Dave Cook(Dee Dee) of Mahomet, IL, and a daughter, Susie Elaine Ohl (Barry) of Dahlonega, GA; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a sister, Shirley Schoonover of Wichita, KS also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Barb Crowley, a son, Kurt Cook, a sister, Leana Mae Deedrick, and four brothers, Paul, Carl, Gene and Lee Stewart.

Lillian graduated from Rantoul High School and worked as a seamstress for Herff Jones- Cap and Gown for 19 years. She was a member of Champaign Eagles Lodge.
