Leonard Salika, 62, of Urbana, died 5:40 p.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 17, 2010 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Urbana. Fr. Joseph Hogan will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church. Renner-Wikoff Chapel 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana is handling the arrangements.

Leonard Salika was born May 31, 1947, in Chicago, IL a son of Eugene Francis and Margaret Josephine Hussbauer Salika. He is survived by his father, Eugene Francis Salika of Manteno, IL; a brother, Robert John Salika of Lyons, IL; two sisters Lucille Marie Salika of Urbana, IL and Catherine Irene Salika of Urbana, IL. His mother preceded him in death.

Mr. Salika received a MS in Mathematics from Michigan State University and worked as a computer systems analyst. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, and enjoyed collecting stamps and racing model yachts.
