Lena Grace Lewis, 92 of Urbana died at 7:58 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2008 at the Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2008 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. The Rev. Tim Barber will officiate. Burial will be at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Woodside Cemetery, Lee Center, Illinois. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lewis was born on August 11, 1915 in Lee Center, Illinois the daughter of Theron and Nina Fuller Miller. She married Elmer Goad he died; she then married Homer Lewis he died on December 15, 1966.

Survivors include a Niece; Eleanor G. (Kenny) Best of Peoria, IL, Nephew; John P. (Mary Ann) Miller of Minier, IL, seven Great Nieces, one Great Nephew, six Great Great Nephews and three Great Great Nieces, a loving member of the Wendall, Lou, Laura and Robin Merry family.

She was preceded in death by a Brother; Arthur Miller, her Step-Father; Roy "Papa" Miller, two great Nephews and one Great Niece.

Mrs. Lewis graduated from Hittle High School in Arimgton, IL and St. Joseph Nursing School in Bloomington, IL and was a Registered Nurse at the Champaign County Hospital and Nursing Home.

She was a member of Webber Street Church of Christ, Urbana where she served as organist for many years.

Mrs. Lewis was a Past President of the VFW Auxiliary. She was the care taker for many friends and loved all animals. She was known for her quick wit and funny sayings.
