Lena C. Goldenstein 91 of Urbana died at 11:04 a.m. Monday, August 4, 2008 at Illini Heritage Nursing Home.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Eastlawn Cemetery, Urbana. There will be no visitation. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Lena was born on December 4, 1916 in Thomasboro, the daughter of Joseph and Jessie Boten Goldenstein.

Survivors include two nieces: Betty Ann Everence of Urbana and Mary Lou Mathews of Monticello and one Nephew James Mathews of Mahomet.

Lena retired as a seamstress at Collegiate Cap & Gown in Champaign.

She was a member of St. Mathew Lutheran Church, Urbana.
