Lee Alan Taylor, 63, of Kankakee passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at noon, at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview. A visitation will be held one hour before the funeral.

Lee was born on July 11, 1950 in Streator, Illinois to parents Melford and Mary (Gordon) Taylor. They survive. Also surviving are one sister, Anita (Kenneth) Rasmussen of Homewood Illinois, one niece, Kirsten (Wayne) Victor, one nephew, Brett (Megan) Rasmussen ,one great niece and three great nephews.

He was a graduate of Homewood Flossmoor High School.

Lee was devoted to his family. He was an avid reader, especially when it came to The Civil War and WWII.
