Lee Wesley Johnston, age 66, of Champaign, died 2:05 p.m. Sunday, April 13 at home. Funeral services will be at Grace United Methodist Church, Urbana at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 18, Rev. Michael Smith and Rev. Roger Ross officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Interment will be at Mt. Hope Mausoleum in Champaign.

Mr. Johnston was born May 5, 1941 at Mankato, MN, the son of The Rev. J. Wesley and Bertha (Marlow) Johnston. He married Audrey Jacobson and she preceded him in death in 1978. He married Julie Little on September 13, 1983 in Urbana. She survives. He is also survived by sons Bryan (Susan) Johnston of Mahomet, Jeff (Joanna) Johnston of Hawthorn Woods, Steve Johnston of Petaluma, CA; daughter; Kelley (Forrest) Granger of Champaign; son, Justin (fiancAC.e, Beth) Johnston of Champaign; sisters, Lois Heins of Iowa, Celeste Lane of Minnesota and four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one brother.

Mr. Johnston graduated from Worthington, MN High School and attended Worthington Junior College. He was the owner/president of Illinois Concrete Co., Champaign, was past president of the Illinois Concrete Pipe Association, co-founder of Urbana Kids Wrestling Club and former member of Grace United Methodist Church of Urbana. He was also a Harley-Davidson enthusiast, die hard Illini fan, member of Grants-in-Aid and long time season ticket holder. He enjoyed RV camping, NASCAR and spending time with family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, Jason, Leslie, Brooke and Nicole. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
