Kimberly Ann Mackey Love, 50, of Urbana, went to be with her Lord June 3, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Webber St. Christian Church, 107 S. Webber St., Urbana. A memorial service will be held following the visitation at 5:00 p.m. at the Church. Pastor Brent Roberson will officiate. Miss Love was born August 11, 1961 in Champaign, Illinois to parents Larry and Janet (Bickers) Mackey, of Oakwood, formerly of Urbana; they survive. Also surviving are sons; Josh Medrow, of Urbana, Bruce Cristina, of Ogden, brothers; Chris Mackey (Vicki), of Urbana, and Kevin Mackey (Lisa), of Urbana, paternal grandmother; Eileen Nelson, three nephews, three nieces, two great nephews, and four great nieces. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Harlin and Juanita Bickers, and her paternal grandfather, Lawrence Mackey. Kim graduated from Urbana high School in 1979 and excelled in track and softball. She enjoyed her animal friends, her palomino horse, and many dogs and cats. She was a beautician and also a caregiver to Will Jonson for many years at Champaign County Nursing Home. Kim loved her Lord and witnesses for Him to everyone she met.
