Kevin Daniel Peterson, 36, of Savoy passed away at 10:24 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Kevin was born on April 15, 1981 in Carthage, IL to parents Richard and Kathy (Quertermous) Peterson. They survive. Also surviving are his siblings; Erik Peterson of Savoy and Sara Buchanan of Bloomington.

Kevin was a graduate of Centennial High School and worked for the University of Illinois as a cook for 18 years. Kevin had an outstanding and inspirational sense of humor! He had a big heart full of love and was loved by many. Kevin will be missed greatly! RIP KMFP!
