Kenneth A. (Buck) Silver 85, of Urbana died at 6:10 P.M. Monday, October 23, 2006 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana, IL. Private graveside services will be held.

Mr. Silver was born on January 16, 1921 in Urbana, Illinois, the son of Harold A. and Dora A. Willard Silver Sr.

Survivors include a brother; Harold A. Silver Jr. of Urbana, Illinois and a sister; Dorothy Pennell of Urbana, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Silver was a farmer and retired from the Grand Prairie Grain Company, Tolono, Illinois.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Urbana and the Moose lodge in Champaign, Illinois. Mr. Silver was a Cubs and an Illini football fan.
