URBANA, IL- Kenneth William Mays, 38, of Forest Park, Illinois, formerly of Urbana, died at 4:30 P.M., Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Memorial Services will be held 4:00P.M. Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Harvest Church, 2118 Cindy Lynn, Urbana, Illinois. Pastor John Callahan will officiate.

Mr. Mays was born March 21, 1968 at Urbana, a son of James D. Mays and Narda Elam Mays. Survivors include; his mother, Narda Mays of Champaign, IL and his father, James D. Mays of Urbana. 2 Sisters: Julie Kozlowski of Peoria, IL and Alicia Dow of Pesotum, IL. 2 Nephews, 3 Nieces and 2 Great Nephews. Also surviving is his best friend, Mel Colot of Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents and Paternal Grandfather.

Mr. Mays graduated from Urbana High School in 1986. He worked for County Market in Urbana for two years and later worked as a produce manager for Dominick's Grocery Store, where he was a member of the UFCW Union . He was a member of the Church of Christ and attended Harvest Church in Urbana. He enjoyed traveling and the Chicago Bears. Ken cared deeply for his family and friends.
