Kenneth James Durkee, age 51, of Macon, died Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at his home.

A memorial reception will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday, December 9, 2007 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana.

Mr. Durkee was born March 26, 1956, the son of Robert and Katherine Kain Durkee. He married Devra Marcus on October 16, 1982 at Olympia Fields. She survives. He is also survived by his mother, Katie Durkee of Champaign, sons; Robert and Benjamin Durkee of Champaign; two sisters, Jane Webber of Savoy,and JoAnne Durkee of Springfield, IL a brother Robert L. Durkee of Santa Rosa, Calif. Mr. Durkee was a teacher in the automotive department at Richland Community College, Decatur.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for the benefit of his children.
