Keith J. Kelley, 80, of Urbana died at 4:51 p.m. Monday, July 6th, 2009 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the VFW Post 630, Urbana. Military services will be conducted by the American Legion Post 71, Urbana. Burial will be in Dennard Cemetery, Dennard, Arkansas. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Kelley was born on October 26th, 1928 in Big Flat, Arkansas, the son of Shelton and Pearl Harrington Kelley. He married Wilma Reynolds on February 4th, 1953 in Leslie, Arkansas; she died September 4th, 1999.

Survivors include two daughters; W. Kathleen (Roger) Ellis of St. Joseph and Barbara (Greg) Ryan of Urbana, one son; Brian (Barb) Kelley of Tolono, one sister; Carolyn Gibbs of Indianapolis, Indiana, and six grandchildren; Matthew Ellis, Addison Ellis, Jacob Kelley, Kayla Kelley, Phoebe Ryan and Sophia Ryan.

Mr. Kelley was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He was a drywaller and a building service worker at the University of Illinois.

Mr. Kelley was a member and past Commander of the VFW Post 630, Urbana, American Legion Post 71, Urbana and also a member of the lions club. He was also a musician and loved hunting and fishing.
