Kathryn Joan Denhart, 74, of Champaign, died at 10:13 p.m., Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Provena-Covenant Medical Center, Urbana. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Ms. Denhart was born July 15, 1936 in Oblong, Illinois to parents Lawrence and Thelma Thompson. Survivors include daughters; Cynthia Bryant (Marvin), Cheryl Cooley, sons; David Denhart, Mark Denhart, sister; Lenora Corriveau, brother; David Thompson, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents.

Kathryn received her nursing degree from Parkland College and worked as an R.N. for more than 20 years at Burnham City Hospital, Mercy Hospital, and other area hospitals. She was an avid reader and enjoyed arts and crafts, especially knitting, quilting, and sewing. She was loved by her family and many friends.
