Karen Helen Rogers, 82, of Champaign, passed away at 9:56 PM, Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospice in rural Mattoon, IL.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana, IL. Rev. Julia Melgreen will officiate.  Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Road, Urbana, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Karen was born July 11, 1942 in Champaign, IL, a daughter of George and Marjorie Rogers.  Survivors include her brother, Barry Rogers of Plaistow, N.H., and she was preceded in death by her parents and her partner, Jerry Kuykendall, and her grandparents, Roy and Faye Innes.

Karen graduated from Champaign Central High School and worked as a medical transcriptionist for Christie Clinic.
