CHAMPAIGN, IL- Karen M. Lamb, 71, of Champaign, IL, passed away at 9:16 PM., Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Champaign Urbana Regional Rehab Center, Savoy, IL.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Sunday, January 3, 2010, at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL. Pastor Terry Strom will officiate. Burial will be held at Stanton Township Friends Cemetery, rural Urbana, IL. Visitation will be held from 4-6PM, Saturday, January 2 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lamb was born April 27, 1938 at Morrisonville, IL, a daughter of Claude and Ruth (Osterholt) Saffer. She married Joseph F. Lamb on June 21, 1959 at Harvel, IL. He survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Kathleen (David) Nauber of Higganum, Connecticut; two sons, David (Julie) Lamb of Geneva, IL and Stanley Lamb of Atwood, IL. and two grandchildren, Matthew and Mark Lamb.

Mrs. Lamb graduated from Morrisonville High School and attended Eastern Illinois University. She was a legal secretary for many years, having most recently worked for Attorneys Title Guarantee Fund, and previously, Holly Jordan. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in both Harvel, Illinois and Urbana, Illinois. She enjoyed reading, travelling, family and friends.
