Karen M. Hall 69 of Urbana died at 2:19 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Streator, Illinois. There will be no public visitation. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hall was born on October 21, 1938 in Goldengate, Illinois the daughter of Lloyd H. and Adaleene Laverty Griffin. She married Trevis L. Hall May 12, 1980 in Gardner, IL; he died January 21, 1982.

Survivors include two sons; Jim Overocker and Jeff Overocker both of Urbana, two brothers; Paul Griffin of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Charles Griffin of California, two sisters; Lois Hayes of Fresno, California and Anita Persinger of Ashland City, Tennessee, five grandchildren; Misty Overocker, Trevis Overocker, Kendra Walker, Kassandra Vreeman and Krystle Vreeman; four great grandsons and her seeing eye dog; Meeka.

Mrs. Hall was active with the Lions Club and enjoyed reading and her grandchildren.
