Karen L. Abbott, 63, of Sidney passed away at 8:24 P.M. on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at her home.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Karen was born on January 20, 1952 in Watseka, IL. to parents Henry and Louise (Carmien) Wann. They survive. On May 20, 1995 she married Tommy Abbott in St. Joseph, he passed away on March 6, 2004.

She is survived by her siblings, Connie Cardinale of Urbana, Bonnie (James) Willis of Peoria and Brian Wann of Decatur.

Karen was a graduate of Urbana High School and was a Building Services Worker at the University of Illinois for 18 years. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and the Minnesota Vikings fan.
