URBANA, IL- June L. Babbs, 85, of Urbana, IL, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 9:48 A.M., Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at the Heartland Health Care Center, Champaign.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, September 4, 2010, at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL. Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana. Visitation will be held from 6-8PM, Friday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Babbs was born June 30, 1925 in Urbana, a daughter of Ethel and Rosa Avery Hatter. She married Donald Babbs on June 5, 1950 in Jefferson City, MO. He survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Gail Broom and husband, Rick of Urbana, IL, two grandchildren, Jared and Krista Broom, and a sister, Virginia Mulholland of Urbana.

She was preceded in death by her parents a son, Dwight, a brother, Gurney Hatter and sisters, Agnes Hatter and Eva Belle Anglin.

Mrs. Babbs was a homemaker and member of Living Hope Four Square Church, Urbana. She enjoyed reading and walking.
