Judy Kay Simpson, 72, of Urbana passed away at 7:52 a.m., Tuesday, February 21, 2017, surrounded by her family. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23rd at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 24th at Eastlawn Burial Park, Urbana, with Pastor Phil McGarvey officiating.

Judy was born August 7, 1944 in Vandalia, Illinois to parents Elvin and Jean (Wickersham) Landreth. She married James G. Simpson June 30, 1962. He preceded her in death December 12, 1995. Survivors include sons: James Simpson (Shari Forrest), of Potomac, Illinois, John Simpson (Ochi), of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Jeff Simpson, of Springfield, Illinois and brother, Roger Landreth (Karen), of Savoy, Illinois. Four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive Judy. She was preceded in death by her parents.
