PAXTON, IL- Juanita Mae Naugle, 88, passed away at 5:05 P.M., December 8, 2012 at Asta Care Center of Ford County in Paxton, Illinois. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Glen Cemetery, Paxton, IL. Rev. Michael Smith will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M., Tuesday evening at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL with Eastern Star services at 5:45 P.M.

Juanita was born October 25, 1924, in Paxton, a daughter of Bessie (Schneiter) Douglas and James Harrison Douglas. She married Virgil Naugle on June 7, 1942 in Paxton. He preceded her in death on March 15, 2002. Survivors include a son, Virgil Naugle and wife, Sharon of Urbana, IL, and a daughter, Susan Naugle of Paxton, IL. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Clinton Naugle of Savoy, IL, and Megan L. Naugle of Belgrade, Montana.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Juanita graduated from Paxton High School and Worsham's Mortuary College. She and her husband, Virgil were owners and operators of Naugle Funeral Home in Paxton for 40 years. She also worked for Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, IL, as a secretary for 20 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Eastern Star Prospect Chapter #367, Paxton, and was Worthy Matron in 1969.
