Joe Dubson, 69, of Urbana, passed away at 2:54 AM, Tues., June 30, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM Sat., July 18th, 2015 at Stone Creek Church, 2502 S. Race St., Urbana. Pastor Doug Burwell will officiate.

Joe was born July 18, 1945 in Urbana, IL to parents William and Florence (Grice) Dubson. He married Christine Woodworth Feb. 18, 1978; she survives. Also surviving are children: Dawn DeHaven, Michael and Charles Houser, Renee Martin, and Anthony, Eric, Jason, Mary, Amber, and Lawrence Dubson, siblings, Fran Richards and Fred Dubson, 18+ grandchildren, and 8+ great-grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, son, Tim, daughters, Jody and Becky, brother, "Doc", and grandson, Joseph.

Mr. Dubson graduated from Urbana High School. He later began work as a technician for Xerox. He was a member of the St. Joseph Sportsmen's Club and enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, camping, reading, and making knives. Joe especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
