Joselyn R. (Lyons) O'Bryan, 80 of Champaign passed away at 4:35 a.m. June 8, 2008. She had spent the last few years at the Champaign County Nursing Home. Joselyn was born June 27, 1927 in Urbana, a daughter of Nathaniel and Bessie Elliott Ray. She is survived by her son, Charles Lyons of Champaign and her daughter, Terry Collier-Griffith of Penfield. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lee Lyons and John O'Bryan, her parents, one grandson and daughter, Patricia White.

Joselyn worked at Carle Foundation Hospital switchboard / mail room for 6 years and at Sears as a switchboard operator for 21 years. She enjoyed motorcycle rides with her son. She was a member of Champaign First Church of the Nazarene.

Joselyn has previously requested that there not be a visitation or funeral service, and that memorials be made to Prairie Center Health Systems of Champaign or to the donor's choice.
