John Davidson, 69, of Urbana, passed away at 10:13 A.M., Wednesday, December, 17, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, Urbana. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.

John was born in Hereford, Texas on January 31, 1945 to parents Jack and LauraBelle (Sousley) Davidson. They preceded him in death. Also preceding John in death was his brother, Larry Davidson and his sister, Loretta Brown.

On February 14, 1970 John married Linda K. Clow in Champaign. She survives. Also surviving are his daughter, Jennifer Davidson of Urbana, his son, Curtis (Jo) Davidson of Palatine, his three grandchildren, Khamerin, Jhordan and Sophia, eight nieces and one nephew.

John was a graduate of Urbana High School and worked for Northern IL Water Company for thirty-seven years before retiring. He loved to play the lottery; he played every day from the beginning. He was a very generous man and loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
