John "Kenny" Campbell, 71, of Urbana, Illinois passed away at 7:58 pm on May 13, 2013 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

A visitation will be held on Saturday May 18, 2013 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana, Illinois. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 P.M on May 30, 2013 at Crystal Lake, Lake House, 206 W. Park St. Urbana followed by a Potluck Dinner.

Kenny was born June 13, 1941 in Grayville, Illinois to parents Irvan Henry Campbell Sr. and Martha Pearl Hallam Campbell. They preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his son, David Lee and two sisters, Reva Campbell and Sharon Eskew. On May 26, 1962 he married Janet Martin and together they had four children, RAC.gel Wilbur of Urbana, Kimberly Campbell-Crays of Bourbonnais, Jason Campbell of Urbana and Daniel Campbell of Urbana. Kenny is also survived by two sisters, Virginia Campbell-Maxwell of Washington State, Rebecka (Jeffery) Campbell-Deem of Urbana, and two brothers, Irvan (Sally) Campbell Jr. of Florida, Ronald Dean Campbell of Pesotum, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Kenny worked as a letter carrier for the Urbana Post Office and retired after 32 years. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Urbana. He loved fishing, playing the guitar, and singing with his family and friends.
