Joanne C. Murray 63 of Urbana died at 9:59 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Joanne was born on August 16, 1947 in Danville, the daughter of Joe and Ann Damiano Murray. She married Raymond Cooley who preceded her in death.

Survivors include her significant other; Pamela Adams, three sons; Joseph Raymond Cooley, John Lawrence Cooley both of Urbana, Christopher Thomas of Wisconsin, two daughters; Jeanne Cooley of Urbana and Amanda Thomas of Pesotum, fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Joanne retired as an LPN, attended Holy Cross Catholic Church, Champaign.

She enjoyed drawing and was a published author.
