JoAnn Feugen, nAC.e Fox, 49, of Champaign, died at home at 12:38 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2010, among family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 509 S. Mattis Avenue, Champaign. A memorial service will be held at the church at 7:00 p.m. that evening and an informal reception will follow.

JoAnn was born on November 5, 1960 in Joliet, IL, the daughter of Frances (Couch) and Ervin Frank Fox. Survivors include her nine-year old son, Christiaan, her husband, Hugo Feugen, her mother, Frances Loucks, brothers Terry Fox (Cindy) and Tim Fox (Bonnie), and sisters Janet Covarrubia (Rich) and Jacqueline Fox, all of Joliet, nieces Megan, Ashley, Amanda, Maura, and Stephanie Fox, Tiffany Covarrubia and nephew Christopher Covarrubia, great nephew, Owen Walker, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, paternal grandparents, Frank and Ella Fox, and maternal grandparents Cleon and Gertie Couch.

JoAnn attended the University of Illinois, Chicago Circle, achieving her Pharmacy Doctorate degree in 1987. As a pharmacist, Dr. Feugen was over years Director of Pharmacy at South Shore Hospital and Taylorville Hospital, and also worked at part-time at Provena, Apria/Coram and Walgreens in Champaign.

JoAnn had been active in MOPS (Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers) at St. John's Lutheran in Champaign.
