Joan A. Good 77 of Milmine died at 5:44 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2010 at Mt. Hope Mausoleum, Champaign. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Mausoleum. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Good was born on July 29, 1932 in Eastland, TX, the daughter of Bert and Lillian Eunice Linn Peyton.

Survivors include two daughters; Viveca (Brett) Phipps of Deland, Martina (Ken) Kerr of Mercer, PA, two sons; Thomas L. (Carla) Lankster of Edwardsville, Kenneth (Diane) Halbrooks of Rantoul, one brother; William Burton Peyton of Griffin, GA, five grandchildren; Adam Lindsey, Maygan Kerr, Robert Kerr, Sherri Lankster, Abbey Lynn Lankster and one great grandson; Tyler Lindsey.

She was preceded in death by one son; James Edward Lankster.

Mrs. Good graduated from high school in Huntersville, AL.

She retired after 25 years as a Building Service Worker for the U of I.

Mrs. Good was a member of the Baptist Church in Warrington, AL. She enjoyed camping, fishing, flowers, birds, needlecraft, history and family gatherings.
