Joan M. Figge, 80, of Champaign passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Joan was born on December 10, 1939 in Ottawa Illinois to parents Thomas and Adele Burke. Joan attended Marquette high school and in 1979 married her husband Allan Figge in Ottawa. She worked for the Illini Swallow as a supervisor for over ten years.

Joan is survived by her son Thomas Burke of Urbana; her grandchildren Ashley Burke of Morris IL, Stacie Stevenson of Ottawa IL, and Kylie Burke of Ottawa IL; and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; many aunts and uncles; and many cousins.

Cremation rights have been accorded and there will be no services at the funeral home.
