Jo (Ann) Burgard 81 of Urbana died at 1:20 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013 at home.

Private graveside services will be held at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview; Rev. Rich Gregory will officiate. There will be no public visitation. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Burgard was born on February 21, 1932 in Waverly, the daughter of Lester and Edith Miller Seales. She married Warren E. Burgard on November 14, 1957 in Waverly, Illinois; he died on March 15, 2013.

Survivors include two sons; Curtis A. Burgard of Urbana and Galen E. Burgard of Deltona, Florida, two sisters; Judy (Bill) Meiers of Del Rio, Texas and Fran Yoder of Port Charlotte, Florida and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother; Stanley Seales.

Mrs. Burgard owned Kwik Copy Printing and Express Print Printing for over 30 years.

She was a longtime member of Pennsylvania Ave. Baptist Church, Urbana where she was very active. She enjoyed painting, water colors, fishing and going to the cabin.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Pennsylvania Ave. Baptist Church, 600 East Pennsylvania Ave, Urbana.
