James "Jimmie" Wayne Smith II, 50, of Philo passed away at 12:36 A.M. on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana. A visitation will be held prior to the Memorial Service from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at St. Joseph Cemetery in Ivesdale.

Jimmie was born in Urbana on February 12, 1965 to (Jimmie Smith Sr.) and Marsha and Charlie Smith. Jimmie Sr. passed away in April of 1965. Also preceding him in death were his grandparents and his brother Chuckie.

He is survived by his parents; Charlie and Marsha Smith of Philo, children; Katie Smith (Johnathan) of Champaign, Jamie Smith, Kennedy Smith, Jimmie Wayne Smith III, Josie Smith all of Monticello and Corey Brubaker (Ashley) of Farmer City, his sister; Shawn Smith (George Roney) of Pesotum, three nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Jimmie loved his children dearly. Also in his life were Shawn, Trevor and Owen Schoonover.

Jimmie was a graduate of Centennial High School where he competed in wrestling and football. He recently started working Customer Service at Menard's but before that he owned Jimmie Automotive in Urbana for several years.

He was also the Sectional Director for the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation. He loved fishing, racing, the demolition derby, and his wrestling kids.
