URBANA, IL- Jerry L. Farruggia, 69, of Urbana, IL, passed away at 12:22 P.M., Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Presence Covenant Medical Center, Urbana, IL. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 701 E. Florida Ave., Urbana, IL. Pastor Terry Strom will officiate.

Jerry was born on August 11, 1944 in Champaign, IL, a son of Louis and Bernice (Bishop) Farruggia. He married Cheryl Lynn Devore on July 12, 2008 in Urbana. She survives. Also surviving are three sons, Michael(Sara) Farruggia of Philo, IL, Daniel Farruggia of Urbana and Jeff(Jessica) Devore of Urbana; three grandchildren, and three sisters also survive.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Jerry graduated from Champaign Central High School and retired from Herff-Jones. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Urbana.
