Jerauldine M. Peabody, 86, of Indianapolis, formerly of Urbana, passed away on March 11, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. at the Forum Nursing Home in Indianapolis.

Funeral Services will be held at First United Methodist Church, Urbana, on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. A visitation will be held one hour prior at the church.

Jerauldine was born on September 25, 1927 in Urbana, to parents Ernest and Pauline (Jerauld) McClurg. They preceded her in death. On October 18, 1952 she married Harold W. Peabody in Urbana, they had four children, Ross Peabody of Greenwood, Indiana, Charles Peabody of Carmel, Indiana, Polly Peabody Leonard of Wheaton, Illinois, and Scott Peabody who passed away as an infant. Her husband Harold passed away on June 24, 1997.

Jerauldine was a graduate of Urbana High School and the University of Illinois-College of Commerce. She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church, Urbana.

Jerauldine is survived by her three children and seven grandchildren.
