Jeffrey A. Redmon, 70, of Urbana passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL.

He was born in Champaign, IL. on January 17, 1956, the son of Harry & Doris (Bateman)Redmon. He married Rose Ann Bell on June 14, 1997, in Champaign, IL. She survives.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Rose; Stepchildren- Jason (Jessica) Fleming of Moses Lake, WA, and Dannielle (John) Fleming of Dallas, OR; Brother- Steve (Sherry) Redmon of Paisley, FL: 2 Granddaughters & 2 Grandsons.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother – Gary Redmon and infant brother-Teddy.

Jeff worked as a custodian for University of Illinois for 20 years until his retirement in 2025He was an avid Illini sports fan, St Louis Cardinal fan, enjoyed woodworking, making holiday caramels & peanut brittle. He spent lots of time with the McDonalds Coffee Group and was known for his sense of humor. Jeff was the best brother, brother-in-law, uncle & friend. Jeff had a great and faithful relationship with Jesus. He loved his church and especially his church family.

Celebration of life service will be held on Monday, March 16 at 12:00 noon at Savoy United Methodist Church, 3002 W Old Church Road, Champaign, IL 61822.
