Jean A. Zarker, 69, of Mahomet, died 5:45 AM, Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Champaign County Nursing Home.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 4, 2008 at the Salvation Army Corps. Church in Champaign. Envoy Michael Fuqua will officiate. Visitation will be an hour prior. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Urbana.

Jean A. Zarker was born November 6, 1938 in New Bedford, MA a daughter of Charles Russell and Myra Frances Perry Grinnell II. She married Donald Zarker May 5, 1957 in Woods Hole, MA. He survives.

She is survived by a daughter Tracy Lee Nofftz of Champaign, and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Mrs. Zarker was a pianist for the Salvation Army. She was a soldier in the Salvation Army church and enjoyed boats, deep sea fishing, collecting lighthouses and dolphins.
