Jean Lowary, 85, of Champaign died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Heartland Healthcare in Champaign.

A graveside service was held 2:00 P.M. July 11, 2008 at Grandview Memorial Gardens. Rev. John Cashner officiated. Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana handled the arrangements.

Jean Lowary was born August 9, 1922 in Champaign the daughter of Audi and Letha Snyder Wilborne. She married Woodrow Wilson Lowary. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include five sons Dennis Lowary, Michael Lowary, Glenn Lowary, Charles Lowary, and John Lowary; seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. A son Thomas Lowary preceded her in death.

Mrs. Lowary was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She was a knitting and crocheting instructor and an avid animal lover.
