Norma Jeanne "Jean" Farmer, 81, of Champaign, died 11:56 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2009 at her home.

Visitation will be Monday evening, February 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Private family burial will be held. Mrs. Farmer was born in Patoka, Illinois May 27, 1927, the daughter of Dan and Nora (Belcher) Wickersham. She was the fourth of nine children. She has two children, Judy Simpson of Urbana and Roger Landreth of Savoy, nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

Mrs. Farmer was a secretary in the Aeronautical Engineering Dept. at the University of Illinois. She enjoyed crocheting and reading.
