Janet Noreen Hirschler of Urbana passed on October 28, 2024 at Amber Glenn Alzheimer's Care Center.

Janet was born on November 23, 1927 in Saunemin township in Livingston County the daughter of Bennie & Pearl Bray. She married Larry Hirschler on September 9, 1993, in Urbana, IL He passed away on October 12, 2012.

She is survived by stepchildren; Stephanie Victoria Harpst (Dan), of St. Joseph, Michael Wesley Hirschler, of Urbana, Linda Olean Fritchey, of Urbana, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Janet is preceded by her parents, daughter- Linda Fritchey, sister-Sally Blair and a stepdaughter- Tamby B. Hirschler.

She was a surgical assistant at Mercy Hospital, Champaign, IL for more than 25 years. Janet was a member of Birdbay Golf Club, in Venice Florida.

Graveside service will be on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Grandview Memorial Gardens (Mausoleum), 4112 W Bloomington Road, Champaign, IL 61822. Casey Taylor will be officiating.
