Janet S. Hicks 67, of Urbana, died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Heartland Healthcare Center, Champaign.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. Burial will be in Stearns Cemetery, Fithian. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hicks was born on July 15, 1946 in Danville, the daughter of George William and Edna Leona Davis Tillotson. She married James A. Hicks on June 7, 1969 in Danville; he died on January 25, 2013.

Survivors include two sisters; Dolores Sanders of Bismarck and Georgia Lynn Doyle of Georgetown and one brother; Roger Tillotson of Flint, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by one sister; Sandra Kay.

Mrs. Hicks enjoyed knitting, hook rugs, quilting, bingo and cars.
