Jane Lois Haines, 82, of Urbana passed away at 6:55 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 701 E. Florida Av., Urbana. Pastor Don Ehlers will officiate. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will take place at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mayview.

Jane was born on March 17, 1934 in Sadorus to parents Jacob and Irene (Meyer) Morenz. They preceded her in death. On June 10, 1956 she married Wayne Haines in Sadorus, he passed away on September 26, 2010. Also preceding her in death were three sisters, one brother and two grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; Cheryl Farruggia of Urbana and Randy (Cassie) Haines of Urbana. Her brother Russell Morenz of Champaign, three grandchildren; Jeff Devore, Kristi (Jake) Tammen, Blaine Haines and one great grandson, Mason also survive her.

Jane graduated from Unity High School and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse at Christie Clinic for forty-seven years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Urbana.
