James L. "Jamie" Redenbaugh, 46, of Champaign passed away at 1:11 A.M. on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Presence Covenant Hospital in Urbana, after bravely battling health problems for most of his life.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel in Urbana. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Eastlawn Burial Park, Urbana.

James was born on March 17, 1969 in Urbana, to parents Richard Redenbaugh and Rebecca Marshall. They survive. Also surviving is his step father Bill Marshall, sister Tammie Redenbaugh, brothers Benjamin Redenbaugh and Scott Redenbaugh, and his step brothers Bill (Lynn) Marshall and John (Jeannie) Marshall.

Jamie graduated from Urbana High School in 1987 and worked for many places including: Huckins & Whalen and Toys R Us.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Urbana. He loved cars and anything to do with them. He was also an avid Bears fan. Jamie was a big practical joker and liked to make people laugh. He loved cats and especially his cat Happy-Buddy. Jamie had lots of friends, even when his health deteriorated he enjoyed keeping up with loved ones on Facebook.
