James R. Malloch, of Champaign, passed away at 2:22 a.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at his home. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory in Urbana will handle cremation services.

Mr. Malloch was born March 21, 1929 in Urbana, Illinois to parents James A. and Helen M. (Moore) Malloch. He married Wilma Jean Pyer August 12, 1948 in Monticello, Illinois. She preceded him in death July 22, 1997. James is survived by sons, Steven J. Malloch, of Villa Grove, Keven W. Malloch, of Champaign, Byron A. Malloch (Penny), of Mahomet, daughter, Frances H. McGee, of Champaign, brothers, Richard and Ron Malloch, sisters, Sharon Malloch and Betty Lou Riney, eight grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and canine companion, Tipper. James was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Nelly May Malloch.

Mr. Malloch worked as a laborer for the Laborers Local 703 and was a lifetime member.
