Jacob Roedl, 46, passed away on December 27, 2011 at his home in Oak Park, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Father Joseph Hogan will officiate. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 2, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Clare Cemetery, Altamont, Illinois.

Mr. Roedl was born November 22, 1965 to parents Doris E. (Cameron) and Casper Roedl. Survivors include one sister; Betty Strom, of Mahomet, Illinois, three brothers; John Roedl, of Quincy, Illinois, James Roedl, of Mahomet, Illinois, Jeff Roedl, of Fisher, Illinois, and 11 nieces and nephews. Jacob was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Roedl, and his parents.

Mr. Roedl received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois, and his Master's Degree from DePaul University. Jacob worked as a Discharge Administrator for Rush Hospital.
