Jack E. Pritchard, 80, of Tolono passed away at 6:22 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2014 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jack was born on June 21, 1934 in Decatur to parents Guy and Hazel (McCartney) Pritchard. On October 9, 1959, Jack married Naomi Dillman. She passed away on June 10, 2007. Also preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, Berdine Pritchard and his daughter Terilyn Bensken.

Jack is survived by his son Mike (Marie) Pritchard of Sidney; six grandchildren : Erica (William) Meade, Suzan (Nathan Simpson) Bensken, Bethanie Bensken, Andrew (Sophie Meyn) Pritchard, Kaylin Pritchard, William Pritchard and six great grandchildren.

Jack was a Veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict. He earned his associates degree from Parkland College in 1977. For most of his life Jack worked for the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier. He also enjoyed a second career with Champaign County Head Start, where he truly was a "Jack of all trades" and handed out smiles along the way. For three years Jack was the owner of a Shell gas station in Urbana
