James R. (Bob) Jenkins, 68, of Urbana passed away Friday February 8, 2019 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Visitation will be at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana on Tuesday, February 12 between 5-7 pm. Funeral will be Wednesday, February 13 at 9:30 am, at the funeral home.  Leland Collins will officiate. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.

He was born August 6, 1950 in Champaign. Bob worked his whole life and retired from Jenkins & Key Moving & Storage in Urbana. He was an avid pool player and golfer. He loved trivia and loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas. He was a loyal Chicago Cubs fan.

He married Pamela G. Slade on September 9, 1968. He is survived by two sons, Robert C. (Julia) Jenkins and Michael E. Jenkins; and five grandchildren, Aaron (Chelsey), Pamela, Shelby, Robert M., and Justin; four sisters, Mary (Jim) Marlow, Edna (Bud) Haubner, Sandra (Leon) Shafer and Ruth Dial.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, brother Charles and sister Marie.
