Irma Jane Wait (Hausman), 80 yrs old, of Urbana left her loving family to be with her heavenly father at 7:10 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2013 at Carle Hospital, Urbana, Il. Visitation will be Friday, 9-11am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Urbana. Funeral service will follow the visitation. Mrs. Wait was born April 25, 1933 in Crittenden Township, IL. She was the daughter of George and Louisa (Karcher) Hausman. Irma married Raymond Dale Wait on August 9, 1952. He survives. Also surviving are her children: Paula Jones of Urbana, Hope Johnson of Colorado, Lora (Larry) Dykes of White Heath, Jeff (Lisa) Wait of Chicago, Amy (Mike) Todd of Savoy, David of Rantoul, and Rae (Myron) Witruk of St. Joseph, sisters: Joan Alkire (Phoenix) and Paulette Kavadas (St. Louis), 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Macian Hausmann, Charles Hausman, and George Hausman. Irma was an avid reader and an active member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
