I.I. Holland, 91 of Urbana died at 5:41 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2007 at home.

There will be no public services. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Holland was born on November 25, 1915 in Houston, Texas the son of William and Anna Stein Holland. He married Annette Farber, she survives.

Also surviving are four sons; Steven Holland of Champaign, William Paul Holland of Rochester, MN, Daniel Farber of Oakland, Ca, and Michael Farber of Urbana, three daughters; Athan Chilton of Urbana, Jackie Farber of Camargo and Lisa Farber King of Troy, OH, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Mr. Holland was an Army veteran of WW II.

He retired as the Head of the Dept. of Forestry at the U of I.

Mr. Holland was a member of the Society of American Forestry. He enjoyed traveling, photography and music.
