RANTOUL, IL- Howard Lee Ash, 67, of Rantoul, IL, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 at his daughter's home in Rantoul, IL

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL, with burial to follow at Danville National Cemetery, Danville, IL.  There will be a visitation one hour prior to the memorial service (9:00AM-10:00) at the funeral home.

Howard was born June 15, 1951 in St. Louis, MO, a son of Clifford H. and Ethel(Nolan) Ash.  Survivors include two daughters, Linda Ash of Rantoul, IL and Donna Ash of New Orleans, LA; Four grandchildren, Savannah, Kayeza, Gabreil, and Christopher; One brother, James(Patricia) Ash of Urbana,  a sister, Helen Ash-Muehl of Columbia, MO, and a niece, Christina Schable of Mahomet, IL.

Howard served in the United States Air Force and worked as a mechanic for Country Tyme Lanes in Rantoul.  Howard supported the V.F.W. and enjoyed bowling and coaching bowling.  Howard loved his grandchildren very much.
