URBANA, IL- Hilma W. Thompson, 90, of Urbana, IL, died at 5:37 A.M., Friday, November 7, 2008 at The Carle Arbours, Savoy.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 10, at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview, IL. Rev. John Sims will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the cemetery. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Thompson was born October 15, 1918, a daughter of Zeb Vance and Myrtle Mae (Mullis) Teel. She married Charles C. Thompson and he preceded her in death in 1985. Survivors include a son, Kent L. Thompson of Champaign; 2 grandchildren, Karen Michael and Kristina Smith; 3 Great grandchildren, Kylie and Kamri Michael and Cory Smith; a brother, Dean Teel of Flagstaff, AZ and two sisters, Carmen Steenbergen of Gifford, IL and Rosalee Werts of Champaign.

She was preceded in death by one daughter: Georgia Goodwine.

Mrs. Thompson attended Sidney and Urbana schools, and was a nurse assistant for Carle Clinic for many years. She was a member of the Fithian Methodist Church.
