Helen M. Tincher 77 of Urbana went to be home with the Lord on October 23, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church, Urbana; Rev. Gary Gritton officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana.

Mrs. Tincher was born April 15, 1937 in Urbana the daughter of Floyd and Lois Nash Gulliford. She married Junior (JR) Tincher of Urbana; he died on June 21, 2012.

Also surviving are one son; Bruce (Bobbie) Tincher of Urbana, one brother; Paul Gulliford of Urbana and one sister; Betty Fackler of Tolono and two grandchildren; Sarah and Eli Tincher of Urbana.

She was preceded in death by one son; Harold Tincher, two brothers and two sisters.

Helen worked as a cook for the Urbana School District for 46 years.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Urbana.

Helen enjoyed reading, playing cards and her grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.
