Helen Louise Jackson, 99, of Champaign died at 8:20 P.M. Wed, Feb. 7, 2007 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007at the 1st Presbyterian Church, U; the Rev. Don Mason and the Rev. Ann Burger will officiate. Burial will be at Springhill Cemetery, Danville; visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, U, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Jackson was born on October 12, 1907 in Danville, the daughter of George Edward and Minerva Della Sinkhorn Atkinson, she married Aurlia F. Jackson on August 28, 1926 in Bloomington, and he died on October 23, 1995.

Survivors include one son; Samuel (Marie) Jackson of Savanna, IL, three daughters; Jean (Lloyd) Helper of Fort Collins, CO, Fran (Jim) Welch of Champaign and Mary (Don Saupe) Anderson of Homer, fifteen grandchildren and thirty four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and one great grandchild.

Mrs. Jackson was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Urbana since Easter 1947, The Order of the Eastern Star Irish Chapter, Danville and the White Shrine of Jerusalem.

Memorial contributions may be made to 1st Presbyterian Church or Carle Hospice.
